Arts For Act:   August 20th, 2005 @ Harborside Event Center, in Fort Myers, Fl.

 

                        Arts For Act, a fine arts auction is held annually to raise funds to help support the Abuse Counsel & Treatment center in Fort Myers, Fla..  This years event, guest hosted by Hollywood actress Sharon Stone, raised over $453,000.  The event features artwork from artists both professional and semi-professional from all around the country.  Among the artistic contributors this year, was Jan Hyde, a new comer to the auction.  Jan's piece, a print entitled "Time Heals All Wounds", was offered in the silent auction, due to it's late entry to the auction, was remarked as being one of the best pieces in the show by several attendees. Other artists represented in the auction include such icons as "Robert Rauschenberg", and "Darryl Pottodorf", among others.
